About Neurology
Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous system including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle.
Neurologists perform neurological examinations of the nerves of the head and neck; muscle strength and movement; balance, ambulation, and reflexes; and sensation, memory, speech, language, and other cognitive abilities.

Dr. Jose A. Gaudier graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1986. He did his neurology training in Birmingham, Alabama and has been providing neurological service in Ocala, Fl since 1991. Dr. Gaudier is well know in the area for his ethics and his moral integrity. he is a former president of the Marion County Medical Society and has been a member of several hospitals boards and a past Hospice board member.
